Natural Remedies for Excessive Facial or Body Sweating

Sweating is a process that body uses to keep the normal body temperature. The body releases sweat when the we are exposed to heat. The sweat so released by glands underneath the skin evaporates thereby reducing the body heat. Nonetheless, due to medical conditions, for example, people can experience excessive sweating. To alleviate excessive sweating, one must find out the one or more root causes and remedy the excessive sweating. For example, in some cases, lifestyle changes can help one to reduce excessive sweating.

Nonetheless, most people try to get drug prescriptions or go through medical procedures to get rid of facial hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating. Unfortunately, what most do not know is that they can get rid of excessive sweating naturally. The important thing to get rid of facial hyperhidrosis is to know the factors that can trigger or aggravate it.

Three factors that worsen or trigger facial hyperhidrosis, they are

Diet

First, you must learn to eat a well-balanced diet because this is important in getting a healthy body. When you are healthy and not overweight, you can get rid of profuse facial sweating. When you are overweight and out of shape, your body’s temperature goes up when you are physically active. For instance, when one is unhealthy and overweight, even the simple task of brushing teeth is sufficient to lead to excessive sweating.

Further, one must avoid spicy food, alcoholic drinks, junk food, processed food, and caffeine in his/her diet. All of these can trigger excessive facial sweating in different ways,

  1. Spicy foods have a chemical component known as capsaicin that can cause your body temperature to rise.
  2. Alcoholic drinks cause the dilation of blood vessels which results in a rise in the body’s temperature.
  3. Caffeine, on the other hand, can increase your body’s metabolism that can also cause your body temperature to increase.

Whenever the nervous system takes note of an increase in body temperature, it will automatically stimulate the sweat glands to reduce the body temperature.

Chemicals in processed food

One must avoid consumption of processed and junk foods due to the use of chemicals based food additives. The body excretes these toxins and unwanted chemicals through perspiration. Therefore, when you are putting in more toxins and chemical with the food that we consume, your body has to keep on excreting these through sweating and other processes.
